Zac Ward serves as Director of Asset Management at Freeman Webb, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in multifamily property management. Known for his focus on operational excellence, team leadership, and performance improvement, Zac has built a strong reputation for guiding diverse portfolios to success.
A second-generation apartment professional, Zac began his career in 2005 as a Leasing Agent before quickly advancing into a traveling support role, where he specialized in training and boosting occupancy at underperforming communities. Following the economic downturn, he continued to grow his career with First Management and later Freeman Webb, where his leadership helped properties earn Property of the Year honors three times in five years.
Zac is a dedicated leader within the multifamily industry. He served as President of IREM Nashville in 2019 and as Chairman of the Greater Nashville Apartment Association in 2020. He serves as Budget and Finance Chair for GNAA and holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation through IREM. Passionate about professional development, Zac is committed to mentoring, building strong leaders, and driving exceptional results across the industry.
