Welcome
As the new Congress settles into Capitol Hill, the time has come to introduce members to the rental housing industry. Advocate – NAA’s annual advocacy conference – is the prime opportunity to meet with your representatives by joining rental housing suppliers, property managers, owners and operators in Washington D.C. on March 12-13, 2024.
NAA Governance meetings will continue March 14-15.
Registration
Registration will open November 2023.
Pre-registration for Advocate is complimentary for all attendees who register on or before March 5, 2024. After this date, registration must be done on-site and will be subject to a $50 charge.
Please Note: Congressional offices may restrict the number of people allowed to participate in meetings on Capitol Hill during Lobby Day. Registering for Advocate does not guarantee that you will be able to participate in a meeting. Please make sure you are working with your local affiliate if you are planning to attend a meeting.

Join NAA for a conversation with federal policymakers about issues of interest to the rental housing industry.
NAAPAC Happy Hour (sponsored by the National Suppliers Council)
Mix and mingle with your peers for an hour of refreshments, networking, and fun, including exciting raffle prizes provided by the National Suppliers Council. All raffle proceeds support the NAA Political Action Committee (NAAPAC).

Scheduling and Holding a Hill Visit
Hill visits with your members of Congress will be organized by your NAA affiliate and will likely be subject to additional restrictions from Congress. If you are interested in participating in a meeting, please let us know when completing your Advocate registration. We will connect you with your affiliate for more specific details.

Hotel reservations may be canceled up to 4 weeks prior to the date of arrival without penalty. Rooms canceled within 4 weeks of arrival will be charged one night’s room and tax.
Rooms in the NAA room block are intended for registered attendees of 2024 Advocate. You must be registered prior to making your hotel reservation. Only one (1) hotel reservation will be allowed per registered attendee. NAA has the authority to cancel any duplicate hotel reservations or those that are not registered for the conference with or without prior notification.

- Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA): 4 miles to hotel
- Dulles International Airport (IAD): 25 miles to hotel
- Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI): 31 miles to hotel
Train
- Washington Union Station (Amtrak): 1.5 miles to hotel
Metro
- The nearest metro station is Metro Center Station, accessible on the Red, Orange, Silver and Blue lines. To access the hotel from the metro, exit Metro Center Station from the 11th Street exit, use the escalators to go up to H Street and enter the hotel through the front doors.
Parking
- Self-Park Garage: 10th St NW between H and G streets. $45 daily.
- Valet Parking is available at the front drive off of H Street NW. The cost is $62.00 per day.
